1. Acceptance
By accessing the site or using the platform you accept these Terms, whether acting for yourself or a company (in which case you confirm you have authority to bind it). If you do not accept them, do not use the service. We may update these Terms; material changes take effect when posted with an updated date, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
2. The service
VMI provides market research reports, analytical data, dashboards and related deliverables, compiled to the scope you configure. We may refuse, limit or discontinue service to anyone at our reasonable discretion, and may correct errors, typos or pricing mistakes without notice.
3. Accounts
You agree to register with accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Accounts use single-active-session sign-in. Fraud, false information or abuse may result in immediate suspension or termination.
4. Report licence & intellectual property
When you purchase a report you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for internal business use by you and, where you use team invites, up to five invited colleagues within your organisation. You may quote reasonable excerpts internally (boardpacks, strategy documents) with attribution. You may not resell, republish, redistribute outside your organisation, or use our content to build a competing product or train models.
All site content, reports, software, trademarks and data remain the property of Verified Market Research (and its Verified Market Intelligence platform) or its licensors. Scraping, bulk downloading, reverse engineering, circumvention of access controls and automated data mining are prohibited.
5. Payment & delivery
Fees are as displayed at checkout, processed by our payment provider. Platform reports are delivered digitally, typically within minutes of payment confirmation; custom analyst work follows the timeline agreed at scoping. Prices and product descriptions may change without notice, but never for an order already placed. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Termination of your account does not waive fees already owed.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service for unlawful activity; to harass or harm others; to infringe intellectual-property rights; to distribute malware; to commit fraud; to post obscene or hateful content; to harvest emails or run mass unsolicited messaging through the platform; or to gather data about others unlawfully. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach this section.
7. Communications
By creating an account or transacting with us you consent to receive transactional email (receipts, sign-in codes, delivery notices) and reasonable service communication. Marketing email always carries an opt-out, honoured promptly.
8. Data
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Data associated with a closed account is deleted or anonymised within 365 days, except where law requires retention.
9. Assumption of risk
Our reports are business intelligence, not legal, medical, investment or financial advice. Forecasts are scenario-based estimates with documented assumptions, not guarantees of future performance. Decisions you take on the basis of our content are your own; for material decisions we recommend triangulating any external source — ours included — against your internal data.
10. Disclaimers
The service and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may cause downtime for which we accept no liability. We are not responsible for third-party sites we link to.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to any order or use of the service is capped at the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Verified Market Research and Verified Market Intelligence, their officers and employees against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the service. We may assume our own defence with counsel of our choosing.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature survive (licence restrictions, IP, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination, as do fees already owed.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction, with objections on grounds of venue or forum non conveniens waived. The English-language version of these Terms controls. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control (force majeure). Legal notices may be served electronically via [email protected].
15. General provisions
These Terms, together with the policies they reference, are the entire agreement between us regarding the service. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stands. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. Nothing here creates an agency, partnership or employment relationship. Headings are for convenience only.
